Los Angeles is one the biggest and best cities to be in for Fashion’s Night Out and Fashify was there to bring our readers exclusive coverage and photos from some of the evening’s hottest events.
I started my night out on Rodeo Drive. Registered media and bloggers were greeted at the penthouse suite of the Luxe Hotel; invited guests sipped cocktails and nibbled light bites on the suite’s terrace, overlooking all of Rodeo Drive’s carnival-themed activities. With a Fashion Night’s Out guide in tote, I ventured into the iconic 90210 shopping mecca to explore all it had to offer. Rodeo Drive’s street fair included its signature pop-up Ferris Wheel, charismatic stilt walkers and a plethora of food trucks. Cirque du Soleil gave guests an intimate Flipbook Experience with their new show, IRIS, while Gilt City Los Angeles pampered passerbyers with mini massages and hand treatments by the Peninsula Spa Beverly Hills. Alfaparf Milano set up a makeover station in front of the Coach store, giving awaiting ladies mini-makeovers and goodie bags for participating.
Guess hosted perhaps one the most vibrant and publically friendly soirees of the night. Vibrant music pumped throughout the store while guests were able to step into their black and white photo booth and get instant prints of their pictures. Complimentary cupcakes and pop corn were also available and those who either donated or purchased at the store received a custom-painted tote bag. Guess also featured rotating, standing models styled in some of the brand’s best fall finds and did free polish changes for patrons throughout the store.
After maneuvering in and out of Rodeo Drive, I ventured over to the Beverly Center to catch a glimpse of their fashionable festivities. Nicole Richie and Vogue‘s Lisa Love kicked-off the mega-mall’s events alongside with Randy Jackson, Ashley Fink, Iqbal Theba, Josh Sussman, Holland Roden Colton Haynes, and more. With a luxury fashion show and contemporary show anchoring the night, shoppers got a chance to view upcoming men’s and women’s styles at a variety of price points.
The ladies of “America’s Next Top Model – All Stars” posed with fans over at Express, while Macy’s brought out celebrity DJ and former model, Sky Nellor.
