The guys are back! As if audiences weren’t already partied out in 2009 with the first installment! Summer 2011 brings to screen The Hangover Part 2! This is sure to be as big a hit.

The Hangover 2 stars Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, and Justin Bartha . The movie is set in Bangkok China, for Stuarts(Ed Helms) Bachelor party! For this movie the guys will not be partying in Vegas. Phil (Bradley cooper) decided Bangkok would be the best place to have a good time, minus the mayhem. Things don’t go exactly as planned and now they wake up hung over and confused, in another country! The Hangover 2 is set to be released May 26, 2011 Memorial Day (US).

Bangkok China is not the first place that comes to mind for a bachelor party. It’s very interesting though, because Phil is walking around with a monkey on his back…Literally! This cast has a very strong comedic line up, characters like Leslie Chow (Ken Jong) is back, and probably crazier than ever. The Hangover 2 has some new comers like Jaime Chung, who plays Stuarts wife in the film. The movie’s plot is hilarious, and the fashion is fitting for all the main characters.

I wanted to discuss the four main characters style in the film. Please picture them before they woke up from a drunken stupor. Let’s start with Phil (Bradley cooper). He was a teacher in the first installment of The Hangover, so to me he was the most stylish. He reminded be of a jet setter. He seemed so clean cut, but rugged in a way. He wears khakis with basic black, or white shirt. His foot wear is casual in a neutral shade. Then there’s Zach Galifianakis playing character Alan Garner and I honestly don’t know where to begin with his style. I noticed he has a peculiar quirky fashion sense. One minute Alan is wearing a logo vintage tee with khakis. In another scene he wears a traditional safari-esque outfit with a matching ascot. In the movie trailer, he wears a traditional Chinese hat, and high water kakis, which I assume belongs to him, right? His styling definitely makes him stand out. Next up we have the groom of the movie, Stuart (Ed Helms). His style is more preppy, with a blazer over a button down collared shirt. Stuart is a dentist and looks more professionally put together then the others. In his relaxed mode he does wear a flannel button down, with khakis. And last but not least the ex-bachelor, Justin Bartha (Doug). His style is comfortable and more youthful; it looks as though he is the youngest. His style consists of layering and warm colors, with Khakis. There’s a lot of Khakis in this movie, but it fits the personality of the characters. All the characters style is a collaboration of well known menswear fashion. Since Khakis are a must, Bananna Republic would be the first place to shop for most of the looks. Abercrombie and Fitch would be great for the relaxed worn looks.

The Hangover 2 is sure to be crazier then the first. Gary Thompson of the Philadelphia Daily News quoted saying “The hangover is ‘The Citizen Kane’ of bachelor party movies”. Wow, as if they didn’t set the standard high in 2009, I have a feeling we are in for a wild Ride.

After taking the FASHIFY team to see “The Hangover 2″ opening night, our opinion of the film is one that comes from mixed emotions regarding the mood of the film and it’s pacing. The movie didn’t have that immediate grab your by your funny-bone effect that it the original had. It has it’s funny moments, but the overall seriousness and darkness of the setting (much of the hi-jinks takes place in Bangkok) let us feeling too concerned about the survival of the main characters. We guess that’s the difference between getting f-ed up in Las Vegas, versus getting f-ed up in cities outside of the US.

I thought the movie was great and fell in love w/ the suits they wore at the end to the Wedding. So much so that I am changing the attire of my groomsmen and groom for our wedding. I want the exact suit they are wearing but am having an impossible time finding out who the designer is. The closest I have come to is having the suits custom made by Neiman Marcus at over $3,000 a suit. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
